Our vision is to pool resources and strengthen a network of high school students to take advantage of the technology that 3D printing offers in order to bridge the gap between the world to create inexpensive, functional upper limb assistive devices. We are working every day to help make the dream of prosthetic limbs become a reality for people worldwide.
Using pictures given by the patient, we customize a 3d printed hand to the anatomy and motion of the hand.
After scaling the hands, we choose the right design for the hand and put it into print
Using volunteers, mainly high school students, we assemble the hand using fishing line, screws, etc.
